As ISO PAS 17712 regulations have led to the production of increasingly robust seals, bolt cutters, shears, and seal bolt cutters have become essential upon the arrival of a container to be opened.
Upon the arrival of a container, there is usually a bolt seal, sometimes even more than one.
The ATROPO bolt cutter or bolt cropper is a tool designed for cutting bolt seals on the handles of maritime containers. It can cut bolts with a maximum diameter of 10 mm, painted in red or orange with a black rubber-insulated handle.
The bolt cutter has a length of 750 mm and a weight of 3.9 kg. The blades can be replaced when worn.
