RFID UHF Gate

The UHF RFID GATE is a door that reads UHF RFID tags, seals, and labels, controlling the entry or exit of goods or people from specific situations such as logistics points, warehouses, terminals, or any situation where it is necessary to verify in real-time, and non-manually, what has entered or exited.

This type of gate allows much larger spans compared to an HF RFID GATE and is generally used for the identification of tagged items in logistic and/or production environments. Typical scenarios for the adoption of UHF RFID GATE include the identification of pallets passing through gates with the assistance of forklifts and/or conveyor belts.

Another application of the UHF RFID GATE is in vehicle access control, where tags are affixed to the vehicle’s windshield (even internally) and are detected by the RFID system that enables (or disables) access.

UHF gates ensure larger spans compared to HF gates, and their installation is generally less complicated (although it must adhere to specific rules). The detection range is significantly greater than HF band gates.
