Description

TIR cord URSUS is specific  for curtain-side vehicles.

The trailer TIR Cord is a 6mm PVC-coated steel cable with TIR fasteners on each end. The cable is a  thin rope made of several twisted  steel strands covered with transparent PVC coating

We stock three standard lengths, but we can supply any custom lengths as required or in a roll of 500 metres with the terminals.

Curtain cord is stainless steel 6mm covered by clear PVC with the length of 36 metres (118.00ft)

Available in stock: 34mt (111.55ft) and 40mt (131.23ft)

The fasteners parts are suitable for plastic and metallic seals with serial number.

The terminals can be supplied separately on demand.

Few words on TIR Convention

The Customs Convention on the International Transport of Goods under Cover of TIR Carnets (TIR Convention dated 1975) is one of the most successful international transport conventions and is so far the only universal Customs transit system in existence since 1975.

To date, it has 74 Contracting Parties, including the European Union. It covers the whole of Europe and reaches out to North Africa and the Near and Middle East. More than 33,000 operators are authorized to use the TIR system and around 1.5 million TIR transports are carried out per year and one of the last country joined the convention is Saudi Arabia.
